Dave’s one word review: Pee-Your-Pants-Funny
The first time I encountered 27bslash6.com, I nearly pissed myself from the convulsions of laughter that ensued. It’s not very often that the written-word can deliver me to such a happy place. After reading just one post, I was compelled to read through all of the remaining 20 or so posts on the site. The content, written by David Thorne, is pure passive-aggressive pleasure at its finest.
Dave’s One-Word Review: Steamy
If you need a small, personal humidifier for travel or the office, Walgreens sells the Travel Aire personal humidifier for about $25. I bought the cool-mist humidifier to use in the office. If you have god-awful sinuses and can’t take the dry winter air, you should get one of these. I keep it on my desk about three feet from me, and it seems to help.
Use a standard 20oz water bottle to supply water to the humidifier. I’ve found that the 20oz bottle provides just enough water for about 8-hours of use on the ‘Max’ setting. If you travel, the humidifier weights about 4lbs and will easily fit in your luggage.
In addition to the moisture the unit adds to the surrounding air, I’ve found it also makes a great (albeit small) smoke-machine for in-office rave parties.
Dave’s One-Word Review: Perfection
I like beer. I love Spotted Cow. This full-flavor beer from New Glarus Brewing (in Wisconsin) is perfect year-round. I wouldn’t even consider myself a fan of ales; I have always preferred porters and stouts, but Spotted Cow made me redefine what I consider ‘good beer’.
It may be hard to find, but it’s worth the effort to pick up a 6-pack or two (or twenty) of The Cow.
